Revocable Living Trusts Avoid the Costs of Probate .

The minimum costs of probate as set forth by the California Legislature begin at over $5,000 for a $100,000 gross estate. On the other hand, the cost to settle a $100,000 gross estate with a RLT would be approximately $3,000.

Remember also that the Revocable Living Trusts avoid the costs of conservatorship on incapacity and guardianship.
