The Check List, the Process, and the Deliverables for "Establishing Your Trust"

  • Documents you'll need to bring on your initial visit:

  • Real Property tax bills for all properties
  • The names of two or more successor trustees
  • Partnership agreement(s)
  • Deeds to all properties
  • Names of all your beneficiaries
  • Trust Deeds where you receive money on a Note
  • Your check or money order

  • Your appointment will take approximately an hour. You will discuss to whom you want to leave your property and who you want to be successor trustee(s) after your death.

  • About 20 days following your first appointment, you will receive all your estate plan documents.

  • After reviewing your plan, calling with detailed or short questions, and making changes, you will make a second appointment, at which time you will sign all your documents at no additional charge.

  • You will then notify all banks and stockbrokers or transfer agents so that the assets can be transferred to your trust. We will provide instructions for your use.

  • We will direct you in making all necessary transfers of bank accounts and real properties to the Trust. Thereafter, all transactions will automatically be part of your Trust.
